My Story

I learnt to sew at a young age, taught all the basics by my home seamstress mother. I'd spend so much time sat beside her turning through fabric belts while she sewed. over the years I'd go on to make curtains and sofa covers for myself as an occasional sewer.
A few years ago I had to give up work due to illness and re-found my love of sewing. I started out making clothes for myself and my teenage children before moving onto baby clothes until I found my first handbag pattern and felt I had finally found my calling .
I make every bag with a new eye, each one is an art piece in itself. I don't really have a theme I just go with my gut whenever I see a fabric I can see the bag that I want it to be with corresponding faux leathers and vinyls and complimenting hardware in my mind. Bringing these bags to life is one of the most satisfying things I have ever done.

Every bag is made at home by myself on my faithful industrial Juki sewing machine Lizzy ( named after my late mum )
